Hi,
If you are here you know my blog has under some changes! I had so much fun yesterday. I've been wanting to do this for a bit now ever since I discovered Shabby Blogs.com. I thought with my limited computer knowledge it may be difficult. I was soooooo wrong and so thankful. It was easier than pie!
I hope you like the comments and stop in at Megan's spot (click in the corner) She has so many styles one is sure to fit you. She has easy to understand instructions, no lie if I can you can!
Now for my post!
As you all know I am a huge STV fan and try to do all those challenges.
This one is from Gina herself! On Wednesdays she has an Inspiration challenge. On the left was the inspiration for the day!
I added the circle and arrow to show which part of the piece my card was derived from.
See those little peeks of hot pink and orange two of my very favorite colors when put together right!
Scroll down a bit and you can see my card!
Picture perfect fawn all snuggled up in lavender on a bright sunny spring morning don't ya think?
The details:
I used GKD card stock base weight white, bubble gum pink.
Theresa's Sending Sunshine stamp set.
Spellbinders Impressabilities Butterfly 40% off at Hobby Lobby!
GKD pink ribbon w/white from stash.
Flowers are a mix of Hero Arts (free as door prize at Archivers) and $1.00 ones from Michaels, inked up and sprayed with pearl glimmer mist about three times!
The pink glitter dots are Tim Holtz distressed stickles worn lipstick by ranger. The rhinestone is from Gina's and the ink ..... Both are dollar inks I purchased at Michaels (hot pink)and my local scrapbook store (orange)!
So there you have it. I purchase a lot of dollar items and they do sometimes work, that is the only way I know to make my stamping dollars go further coupons and dollar items. Careful though those $'s add up quick. LOL
I hope you all have a wonderful day and it is sunny and beautiful in your part of the world!
Hugs :)

This is gorgeous and yes those $ do add up I quick! I try to squeeze a dollar out of every dime I spend!
It is so good to see you happy and creating. Keep up the wonderful work, my friend.
The background of your card turned out beautifully. And how clever of you to add the circle and arrow to the inspiration photo! Keep on creating!!
