Today's card is a Hero Arts image I purchased on one of my trips to Archivers.
I love Lilly's of the Valley and this is the first time I saw them in a stamp. I really don't do much looking because that could lead to buying LOL. See story at end of post.
All of the sudden I'm stumped on the name for this type of stamp, where you color the background and the image stays uninked (in this case unpainted). I'm fairly certain one of my stamping buddies can help me out with the name of type of stamp. I did purchase another stamp of the same type though.
Card details
I used GKD card stock Spruce and Cranberry Tart. I used a Cranberry Ranger paint dabber to cover the background. I think I may have put it on a bit heavy because the image is not as crisp as I would like. I colored the leaves copic marker.
Added embellishments, ribbon, button, rhinestones and the butterfly is from a piece of dp added to a piece of card stock (for strength) and cut out.
Yesterday I went to the scrapbook/stamp store 3 minutes from my house to get adhesive because they don't open til 10 am and in my day that is already lunch time. Just for kicks I asked them if they had any 6X6 packs of paper, most of the time they don't except yesterday! Just my luck, they just got some new ones in from Making Memories and paper packs were 20% off this week. I confess I bought 3 packs how could you pass up a deal like 30 sheets of coordinating dp 6X6 size for $4.00? I told my husband I was going to have to find a new place to buy the adhesive because it seems to have gone way up in price! He just shakes his head and laughs at me!
Have a great day, let your loved ones know you care and keep smiling :)
Hugs

Isn't it funny how adhesive gets pricier and pricier each time you go into a craft store? That's why I order mine online without looking at any other options!!! lol I don't know what kind of adhesvie you use, but Penwa has a very good deal on the Tombow permanent refills that I use.
Super sweet card and I love the story! Luckily I live in an area where there are no craft stores! LOL! I don't know what is more expensive gas to run 70 miles to a store or shipping!
