Think Ink Tuesday #25

Hi, everyone! Patti Nelson a good friend over at STV is on the design team for Artfull Inkables.
Their stamps are wonderful and I hope to put a few of them in my collection soon.
Their challenge always runs for 2 weeks so you have plenty of time to fit it in. You don't have to use their stamps but if you do your entered twice. I don't have any yet!
This challenge was to make your own background(not use any type of DP). I love making scenes so of course I made one to use for my background paper. Then colored and cut out these two adorable turtles.
Card Details Base Layer is a black texture manufacture unknown. I made the background on GKD Pure Luxury 120 lb white.
The first step was to use Rangers Tim Holtz Old Paper Crackle Paint once that was dry about 3 hours to get a good dry crackle. I took out my Marvy Blue and sponged the water, then proceeded to sponge a combo of yellows, oranges and a smidgen of lavender to create the sky.
I stamped my palm tree, from Aloha by Theresa @ GKD designs in both TH distress Walnut stain and versamark. I carefully put my embossing powder a glittering green on the palms and the bottom grasses with a straw and embossed. I added a sediment from Theresa's set which I love to the bottom in TH distressed Walnut Stain to the bottom right corner. Then stamped my turtles on PL 120# PL white colored with copics.
Thanks for letting me share and have a great day!
