What Happens When ???

Ya just lose it? This weekend I looked every where for it. I studied the paper on my desk and my supplies. Still nothing! Where did it go?
These past few weeks have been extremely hard from a craft point of view. I felt scrunched for time and always interrupted. I had a great card just moments from completion and the deadline past me by. I guess I'll look for another challenge to put it in.
Although I thought I knew what I was doing for the inspiration challenge at STV. I came up with something totally different. This by the way was my third try of four. No wonder I can't get one card done if I have to do four just to get one and I'm still not happy. I got the paper out for the first try and it just didn't seem like the look I wanted. Second try was a brilliant idea, I will put some variegated foil in my cb folder. Well that stuff should come with a big fat WARNING label. Do not use in cb folders, will crumble, stay in cracks and create one huge mess!!! LOL. After I cleaned up that mess I still had the embossed paper, so I thought a bit, how else can I get those bright colors? I remembered my Twinkle H2O paints (one of those things you just have to have and rarely use)...... so I'm digging and digging found them. Picked out the colors I wanted. Do you know how hard it is to paint with these things on a tiny, tiny raised surface. LOL Then when I finished I didn't like it at all. Some of the colors I used (covered by image and placement of tag) just stood out too much. I turned the folder over and took a paper towel and wiped down the other side with just one color and that didn't show up. So here is the way it is! I really hope to stamp more today we will see where that takes me.
Have a happy day whatever you are doing!

This is beautiful! Sometimes we are our own worst critics! I've been struggling too... maybe it's the weather!

Hey sweet lady! We all have those days I think...when we use enough suppies in one card to have made four! You finally hit the mark though...very striking card...the yellow flower just pops on the deep background! I hope you are doing well. I was touched you stopped by my blog to check on me! Thank you! I love my stamp tv friends like you! Hugs!! ;D Diana Q
