Hi, today's post is for One Layer Wednesday. I really played with this one! We were supposed to use an image three times or three different images and one saying. I inked up the the guitar using several ink pads. I really should have cleaned them between each inking because they muddied up a bit. The images and saying are from Inkadinkadoo.
Once again this one will go to one of the grand kids when they do something amazing in school. I kinda made it with Drake in mind, he is 7 and started second grade.
When he was younger between the ages of say 2 and 5 he use to love the Disney sing alongs. At 5 he informed me "Grandma those are for babies and girls". The other day I had a chance to see him and his dad in the car. He was singing at the top of his lungs some 90's song his dad had on. I asked him when he started singing again. Now I'm cool because I know my dad's songs not baby songs.
OK Drake! He is just too funny.
That's it for now. Since some of you are interested, I'm going to try to find the picture of the oil painting I commissioned of our four horses two Christmas's ago. It was something special for my husband. If I can find it I'll post it!
Have a wonderful day!
Colleen

Well now, this card would be perfect for anyone in my household. I can just hear the music flying from the amp downstairs! Great colors and idea!

Your grandson will LOVE this!!! Very definitely a masculine type card! I need to concentrate on making more 'guy' cards, since I'm always needing one!! Fab job on the challenge!!
