Partridge in a Pear Tree

Partridge in a pear tree! This stamp took my breath away when I saw it done up at the show. I didn't color it the way they did though. They used tans and browns which is probably the way the partridge is supposed to look.
I wanted to use more regal colors to really dress it up!
This image came from Prickley Pear . They have an amazing assortment of stamps. I could have bought more!
I really wanted to get some stamps from a lot of different companies so I stuck with the one that drew me in first.
Of course I didn't leave without a business card though.
I just noticed over at Mark's Finest Papers the challenge is to use a bow. So I think I will enter this one over there.
I have about 4 to 5 other cards made and will be looking for challenges to enter them in also.
The Turkey is in the oven, pies are done and now I'm starting the wash. I hope to get some time to play today we will see.
I hope you all had a wonderful and safe turkey day. My son and the 4 littlest grandchildren are coming over today. I think they maybe even old enough to use my good china. Well maybe two of them are.
Later
