Day 1 First Grade

Hi everyone, back with that scrapbook page I was working on!
This page is for a sketch challenge.
All the materials used are from my stash.
See I not only stash paper ...... but chipboard and fibers as well, and two large 12X12 drawers full of ribbon.
The title was part computer generated and clip art from my PC Crafter stash. I of course had to add fiber. The chipboard was a great find at my local scrapbook store(3 years ago). Having three grandsons to scrap and make cards for I was searching that day for boys only stuff. When I found this set by Basic Grey. I really can't tell you how old the paper is. For the journaling I pulled a sheet out of small notebook. I have to confess I did go to Hobby Lobby w/coupon in hand searching out the punch that makes notebook style sides. I did find it but was able to resist for some reason. On the other hand I did blow it when w/coupon in hand I went to Michael's to get my adhesive. I passed all the punches on sale and paper stacks. But at last I went to the stamp isle and found this cute boy set with aliens, UFO's and some other stuff. It was 1/2 price on clearance so I don't feel bad I got about 15 stamps all boy for about $5. Enough of that ...... back to the page!
This is my oldest grandson, in this picture he is 7 that was two years ago! Not too far behind huh.
He was so proud that day. Being the oldest he was the first to go all day to school.
That is it for today, I have to work today and then tomorrow in the morning. I'm really going to try to post a One Layer Card tomorrow. The challenge this time is to use yellow.
Have a wonderful day.
Colleen
