Sweet Sketch Wednesday
Patti, a GF's blog I visit regularly is a DT member for Sweet Sketch Wednesday. This was the sketch for this week and it really caught my eye.
So I thought I would give it a try. I love cards that have mixed shapes, it's a trick to get my brain to work that way though. As soon as I saw the sketch I knew the exact stamp I was going to use. A few weeks back I went to a girlfriends who doesn't have card making materials. The last few years we've been getting together so she can make Christmas cards. I pack up a bunch of stuff and off we go. Since at that time I really hadn't purchased any new Christmas stamps, I was digging through old stuff looking for an angle stamp I knew I had. I found this kitty in the stuff and guess who's it was. Yep it's one of Valerie's old stamps so by now I would say it's 14 years old. Any way this card is for baby Elizabeth who is now three but will always be my last grand baby.
I will be back in the am, as I have another card drying waiting to be posted with the last new Northwoods stamp I purchased at Archivers.
Have a great evening.
