Our Christmas

We traditionally have Christmas on Christmas Eve.
This allows us to spend the whole day with my Son and grandchildren and then we have Christmas day to spend with my Husbands 7 brothers and sisters and their children.
Yesterday was a blast, although way more noisy than we are use too! Four children on a sugar high with brand new toys in a 1300 sq foot house. Ok then add in the three puppies who are not used to having kids around. Can you say Advill!
The kids really liked their remote control cars. The funny story is(and I know there is one every year)
Elizabeth. I watched her all year long, she loved carrying around different bags as if they were purses. So for Christmas I picked out a pretty, shinny pink purse and filled it with nail polish, cap stick a small play mirror and a cool leopard print pink brush. Thinking this was the perfect gift. Let me tell you I'm still stunned ....... she liked OK until she opened a little $5.00 remote control yellow hummer my husband and I pick up for her at the last minute. When she saw this car her eyes were as wide as saucers and she screeched I have my own remote control car. It was the funniest thing. Just thought I would share. My Son saved all the tags I made to use as ornaments on their tree. So all in all it was a great day. The kids loved the turkey and stuffing. I'm exhausted!
I hope your all doing great out there.
Hugs
Colleen
