Timeless Tuesday Tri-fold

Here is my entry for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge. Make a tri-fold card.
It's no longer a requirement to go to the DT's blogs and leave comments, I just couldn't help myself though. I love looking at other creations and learning new things. So off I went and I'm so glad I did. Beate had the most unusual card I've ever seen. Many of you may already know how to do this, but it was very new to me. She provided a link to the instructions, which I printed out. As always there where some bumps in the road. The first one being, I had to wait for my Flourishes stamps to arrive. Finally they came and I set out to complete the card I had invisioned. Of course I don't have all the tools made for this craft so I went with what I had. I used my Octagon Spellbinders instead of the square. This was a bit tricky because I had to make sure I could stand the card up. If I have to be honest my image stamp from Flourishes Spring has Sprung by Marcella Hawley looks a little overwhelming, but in person I think the scale is OK.
I left the inside blank, I'm sure it will be an Easter card, I have plenty of time to decide. While this looks hard it really wasn't and I was able to overcome the mistakes I did make fairly easy.
For those who are regular readers of my blog, the answer is yes I did get it finished but I haven't added it to the base or added any embellishments. So that will come later this week and my desk is squeaky clean. LOL
I have to get on track again.
I work a few hours later today so I maybe back.
Hugs
Colleen
