Elizabeth's Christmas Card
Over at Whimsy Stamps challenge blog, the challenge was to paper piece. I only have a few of their stamps and this is the only one I could really paper piece so Valerie's Gift finally was inked. I do however have a bunch of their dies and a wish list going.
I don't normally combine challenges, this time I did because I used the challenge at Joan's Garden for my recipe on this card. She asked us to use the following
Create a card using corner embellishments
Color theme should be Blue and Green
Add some kind of flowers
Use an oval background
Details on the card Card base is GKD PL Ivory, the mat is GKD PL Fresh Asparagus, my dp is from K&Company, My paper piecing was done with paper from MemoryBox Butterfield collection. I used Whimsy Ticket Die and Christmas sentiments, HFC corner embellishment, Spellbinders Poinsettia for my flower and their Classic Scalloped Oval as a backdrop for my image. So I think I have everything covered. Wow I didn't get too many challenges done last week. Every week I say I'm going to better, somehow I just get so backed up. I think I'm going to work on an ACT card or two. Have to work later. Hope to be back today:)
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.
