Flourishes Progressive Challenge

card 1

This month Flourishes decided to change things up a bit for the release challenges. They are doing a progressive challenge. There will be four steps you can do all four steps or combine all four in one card. Either choice will give you four chances to win the new release.
My take on the challenge may not have been right?? LOL
I thought you were to use one image and make it into four totally different cards following each step.
I picked the beautiful Pine Cone image from Naturally Merry one of Marcella's newest sets. All the sentiments came from Sentimental Favorites except one which came from Snow Days another one of Marcella's set.  So the first step was a sketch see card 1.
The second step was was to use the sketch in a monochromatic design. I used Ivory, soft sand and chocolate. See card 2.

The next part of the challenge was to use some dp. I love seeing mixed dp on cards, I'm partically drawn to the ones that can mix 3 or more different dps. So I searched and searched for dps I thought I could match.
This is what I came up with, I may have gone off the monochromatic theme a bit, but they all have the same colors in them. LOL See card 3
card 3

Step 4 was to add SPARKLE. I think I still kinda kept in the
card 4
monochromatic scheme with Ivory, chocolate and soft sand in the dp. OK so there is just a bit of green but it's on the Pine Cone too! See card 4

So there you have it. This was really fun, I've never used one image colored it different 4 ways and made four totally different cards. Even better three of the four cards already have homes to go to:).
Hug to you and have a wonderful day. I still have a bit before work so I'm going to see if I can find more paper trouble to get in.

Wow Colleen! These are four great cards! I'm especially drawn to the autumn tones one. But they're all so fun and classy. Shows how differently a stamp can be showcased! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Flourishes!
