Vintage Christmas

Morning, This is a card I've been working on during the week a little bit here and a little bit there.
I've used two separate images from Great Impressions. The little girl is E658S and that wonderful frame is J96S, both were purchased last month with my 25% off discount coupon.
When you participate in their challenges and use their stamps you receive a 25% off code for your order that month. It's a monthly challenge so there is not a large commitment(fits right in my schedule). The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps Christmas Ticket set. I really wanted the image to look like an old postcard so I used several distressing methods.  The bubbly crackle was a happy accident. I added some glossy accents and it started flowing every where. I decided my heat gun may stop the flow. I can tell you don't do that unless you want boiling glossy accents. I started pulling it off then realized I had the perfect crackled picture so I went with it. I added lots of TH distressed ink and there you have it.
I have both today and the next off, I can't believe I have two days together. It's a toss up here, I can make cards, shop for making cards, work on my making cards room or go to Archiver's that is currently having their holiday open house for making cards. LOL I think there is a theme here.
Hugs

Wow Colleen! I love the crackled effect on your card! Isn't it funny how what we think may turn out to be a disaster turns out to be better than what we originally planned? (lol!) Beautiful festive card with a nostalgic feel! Thank you for sharing with us at Great Impressions Stamps!

Hugs,

Jenny
