I purchased this owl to put on an ACT. When I got home with it I noticed it was about and inch or two, to big for an ACT. I still wanted to use it for one so I decided to make 4 ACT's out of it, but then I just couldn't cut it up when I finished it. LOL so now I have a 5X7 Extra large ACT! I will be putting this one in a shadow box from Hobby Lobby as a gift to my son.
I measured everything out so the middle of the owl would be on each of the four ACT's and positioned all the embellishments according to the cutting lines. Yet I was to scarred to mess it up. LOL
The image stamp is P174 Steampunk Owl from Stampendous. The crackle stamp is from a GinaK set called Bold Flowers. The other stamps I used were from Whimsy Stamp sets School Yard Fun and The Good Life Tickets as well as Creative Words by Inkadinkado. I purchased the hinge and sprocket from Menards and the spinner is from Spare Parts. I added a bottle cap and center with glossy accents, the moon is chipboard with Glimmer Mist on it. I used a tiny mask from TH and lots of embossing and sponging. Some Liquid Pears and a leaf punch. Ribbon and brads from my stash on my desk. Here are two close ups.
That's it for today! I know it's not everyone style, but I really like how this turned out :) Both Craft a Scene and Great Impressions put out the new monthly challenge and it just so happens I received my new stamps from Great Impressions on Saturday @ a 25% discount with no shipping fees! So I'm going to start working on those. If I'm not back for a few days, I'm trying to do them between work hour and the dogs.
Hugs to everyone, I'll be back!

Fabulous! I can't blame you a bit for not cutting this into 4 pieces -- in fact, I may have wanted to wring your neck if you had!!!!! lol
