Yesterday when I was coloring my cottage with my PanPastels I went to the blog for some information. I saw they had a challenge blog and decided I would join in. The challenge is to try something different with them. Since all I've ever done was color my landscapes I decided to try backgrounds. I read a few blogs on PanPastels and for once I had just what I needed so ....... I went for it.
The castle, dragon and fairy homes are from Lavinia Stamps in the UK. I received them really fast when I ordered them. I have to confess I've had them for some time, I tried to use them before and just couldn't get the picture the way I wanted. I used two Stampscapes stamps and some creative words from Inkadinkado.
I should have written down the colors I used, maybe next time I will think of that. I made the background first and them stamped the images in Archival Jet Black. I embossed the words in silver on the fairy houses and on the castle and dragon I used a stipple brush and some embossing powder all over the card and embossed with holographic embossing powder. I didn't know I could do all that on PanPastles.
That's it for today. We will see about tomorrow.

Great going with the PanPastel experiments Colleen, I love the bright coloured backgrounds and all of the embossing. The ATCs are very striking. Thanks for linking your great pieces to PanPastel UK this week. I hope you will join in Iwith us gain.
