Altered Bottle/Jar

I will try to keep this as brief as possible. Lots of pictures too! AT EP the challenge this time was to alter a bottle/jar, I knew right away what I wanted to do. OK, now comes the how to do it. I had to pick a jar that would allow me to follow my vision. Hobby Lobby just happened to have all jars at 50% off. I'm not going to trouble you all with a step by step as they are numerous.
I covered the jar completely with Gesso, Wendi's Brick Wall stencil and modeling paste simulate the brick look covered with both TH Gathered Twigs and Fire Brick. I used Liquid Applique to create the snow on the bottom. Assorted TH dies, shrink plastic, craft sticks, 6mm metal bells some covered in alcohol ink, dp, ribbon, burlap, jute, miniature tree and wreath, PoppyStamps Grand Madison Window die were all used to create the decorations. I also included a Tap Light attached to the top of the jar to illuminate the tree inside.  My son loves these type of decorations so this one will be delivered to him just before Christmas as an early surprise.
This one was certainly a challenge.

That's such a fun creation... I love the brick wall texture, and it's so cool to be able to peek through the window and see the tree! Thanks so much for playing along with us at eclectic Paperie!

Oh good grief, you actually sculpted all of those bricks! I bow down to you, my friend! No wonder you have not posted in ages. This is really amazing!
