It's been about a year since I've actually made a card, due the illness of my horses and moving them. Then other projects took over my life. Flourishes challenges are every Tuesday and since that is a day I frequently have off, I hope to be able to keep up with this one as I really like their products.
OK so on with the challenge, a shaped card oh my! I needed a card for my littlest grandson as he will be turning 7 and his brother will be 8 just days later. Looking through my supplies, I had no shapes that were good for a 7 year old boy. I knew I wanted to use the sled image from the SNOW DAYS set. Looking around at the materials I had on hand I found everything I needed to make a house shaped card. I could put the image in the window. Brilliant idea that would be perfect for him. :)
I also used the sentiment from SENTIMENTAL FAVORITES.
I used scraps of printed paper for the roof material, the door was sitting in one of my bins just added a button. I made the balloon and chimney from some left over mix media project and floss. My image was colored with copics(boots should be camo) LOL.

Yippie skippy, you made a card. I received that window die for Christmas as well as the shutters and window box. Can't wait to create with it. You did a great job on this, and you know I love that stamps set. since I just used it for my shaker. Good Luck with the challenge.

I so struggle with shaped cards for some reason, you did an awesome job with yours. Love the textures and that image peeking through the window.
