Anyone who really knows me, knows I have a granddaughter who is 13. She should be graduating 8th grade this year. Her mother has decided to move the family to New York! Adrieene will be leaving all her childhood friends behind :(. I made this card for her to give to her best friend before she leaves at the end of the summer. This will be a major adjustment for me because I'm so used to seeing her when ever I want. We are only two hours apart now so I drive down on weekends and during the summer she spends most of the summer here. Card details: The set I used is hand-drawn manga art by Gina Krupsky's daughter Alicia, it's called Best Friends. Card stock and ribbon is all GKD, the dp is from my stash. I colored with copics, added a few dew drops which look violet but are really light blue. I used the Thursday Sketch Challenge at STV for the design just switched it up a bit by switching the placement of the oval and square. Have a great Sunday and stamp away the day:)

So sorry, I know it hurts, my only grand daughter lives 12 hours away, my heart goes out to you. Your card is gorgeous, she and her friend will love it.
