Pearls and Pastels!
Hi everyone! Today's post is for a challenge in the Shabby Tea Room. I've been working on this for the past few days in between work hours and chores.Clare one of the DT members provided an inspiration piece I just couldn't resist! The hand painted pearls on this bracelet remind me of a romantic era gone by.
I chose this wonderful image by Great Impressions G339. I stamped the horse in Memento London Fog to keep the lines soft, colored with copics frost blue, tender pink, yellow and mignonette. I used a gray Souffle puffy pen for the hoofs, pole and unicorn horn. Dusted the edges with some Tim Holtz Distressed Worn Lipstick. I sprayed the image with pearl Glimmer Mist. While that was drying I cut an Ivory mat from Gina K PL card stock. Distressed the edges, applied some Versamark and Ranger's detailed Silver eb powder. Lightly misted the card stock and crumpled. I then applied a layer of TH Distressed Antique Linen and a layer of TH Distressed Shabby Shutters and sprayed with the pearl Glimmer Mist. Cut a mat to match my card base from Gina K PL Pink using Spellbinders labels one. Using the Spellbinders Fleur De Lis and Gina K PL Ocean Mist I cut my pendant. Attached all my layers, satin bow with flower and my pearls.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a great day!
