Thinking of you
Finally I can get a post up. It's just been one of those weeks :).
One Layer Wednesday is back and it really was a challenge for me this time. Black, White and Red all over!
I started out wanting to do a vintage Christmas card with a crackle stamped background. That one didn't work so great. The "look" just wasn't what I had envisioned.
Then I had this really cool idea of putting together a ladybug with my nesties. Wait it's ONE LAYER.
I did try my best to draw out the ladybug tracing items on my desk. I was able to get a bug that looked like a lady bug. It was way out of proportion for the card. This is what I'm left with as all my original ideas failed. Hope you did not have as much trouble as I did. I used GKD card stock, Hero Arts Shadow stamp with Tim Holtz Black Soot ink and a saying I've had forever embossed with white embossing powder.
I'm off to count my Halloween cards. Something tells me I'm one grandkid short and since they just may show up tomorrow I better get with it. It's really too bad I don't have a NY address for the other one.
Hope to be back soon before I have to go to work today :(

Well, I think 3x is the charm! I love what you came up with! Very vibrant! Happy Halloween..... I forgot to say that earlier!
Wowzers GF I love this! Perfection in every way! Have a Happy Halloween!
This is so beautiful. I love how you've used a red background - the poppies are just great.
This is great, it certainly is red all over.. I think this is the more challenging option.
Super card!
