Dream, Inspire

This post is for Speedy the Cat Challenge. The only requirement is to use a heart.
They give away a stamp set for 50 entries. I missed last weeks because of too much work :(. So this week I wanted to make sure I got in.
Since all my Valentines are finished. I decided to try something a little different. I pulled out the stamp and heart I wanted to use, then it was just a matter of getting it all to go together for the look I wanted. It's not Vintage more retro I'd say.
What do think? After much playing with texture and pattern I was able to achieve the "look" I was after. The card stock is Gina K Designs Black Onyx and 120 lb White. I stamped the Dress by Inkadinkado on dp from DCWV La Creme collection with Versamark and embossed in white. I ran the 120 lb white through the cuttlebug using the Textile folder loaded with TH Black Soot. The bottom strip was run through the cb using Swiss Dots folder. The Heart is from Spellbinders Nested Hearts. I covered it in white metallic rub then tapped with my static pillow, hoping that the words would take. Since they are silhouettes, I used Versamark and embossed with black embossing powder. Topped that off with a white pearl brad(stash). I still needed more so I went to my fiber stash. I fully intended to hang the fibers from the brad, that just didn't do it for me. I put a piece of score tape across the back of the heart and began looping the fibers. It worked!
I hope you like this one! I'm going to try to be back later. One more card and a scrapbook page on my mind.
Have a great day.
Colleen
