Something Is Fishy!
Joan's Garden Challenge #4
I love doing Joan's challenges because they really are a challenge to me. She often ask for things that are out of my comfort zone. I think I'm getting better at them ...... maybe?
This weeks challenge
1. Use Yellow and Green for your colors
2. a piece of trim
3. a frame to call attention to your focal point
4. embossing
So I go searching ...... What do I have I could color green or yellow? My fish from Gina K Design's Quite a Catch set.
The card stock is Gina's PL Lemon Drop and some Olive I purchased for a project and had left over. The dp is a reverse side of a Christmas paper I had left over.
Trim is the next on the list ..... question is ribbon considered trim? Well I didn't think it was and I had no yellow or green trim so I twisted and knotted my green and yellow ribbon to look like a fishing line and we will call that trim. Frame to call your attention to your focal point I would normally say the oval would count but just in case I scored my yellow mat 1/8 inch all around to create a frame. Embossing easy I will use cb folder tiny bubbles. I think that is everything!
I have no idea how in the world I came up with this design either .... I just kept putting shapes together until I thought it worked.
Can you tell I was having one of those days when I question everything LOL.
Hope yours is better!
Colleen
