A Friend Like You!

Today I'm sharing a card I made for Stamp TV's color challenge. This weeks colors are red, black and yellow. You don't have to use Gina K stamps to participate, most of the stamps I have are hers though.
I used a combination of three sets, Happy Spring, Spring Mix both GKD and Framed Flowers by Carolyn King.
I loved this hat and gloves when I purchased the set last spring and only used it once????. Framed Flowers I've had for almost two years and I used these flowers over and over again.
The dp was a free download from Gina and free is always good in my book. I used GKD PL Rocket Red and a black from my stash.
I embossed the frame and flowers from Carolyn's set right on the dp using Cherry On Top(smells wonderful) embossing powder by Gelatin Stamps cut it out and matted it on black.
I stamped the hat and gloves on the dp, fussy cut them and filled some areas in lightly with black colored pencil. I embossed the seed packets on the dp using the same powder as the flowers. Matted all of those on Spellbinders Labels Four, using pop dots under the hat and gloves. The sentiment is from Spring Mix it reads "Happiness is having a friend like you". I scotch tapped over everything but the Happiness and used that on the front of the card, then tapped over the happiness and stamped the rest on the inside. The punched ribbon I used I've had for years.
Hope you are having a great day.
