Dream Big

Wow, I really thought I had this one in my brain. It took forever to make it happen. I love cards with tags on them so I thought I would give this challenge a try. This is a challenge blog for Embellish Magazine, which I found about two weeks ago highlighted on the JustRite challenge blog.
For the challenge details you can go here.
There were 4 colors required, medium blue, a grayish pink, gray and navy blue. The other requirement is to have a tag on your card(project).
I really can't believe I pulled this off without leaving the house for supplies. When I make tags I love the collage look and lots of texture. For this tag I used GKD PL Smokey Slate, embossed it with TH Notebook embossing folder. I used the smallest Spellbinder Beaded Circle cut in GKD PL Boy Blue(same as card base) to top the tag and punch a hole for the fibers. I used TH Crackle Paint Worn Lipstick to highlight the circle I stamped with JustRite's Just A Note Set in both London Fog and TH Worn Lipstick and sponged Antique Linen. I ripped a corner from one of my Websters Pages for the transition I added Ivory Lace and Navy Blue Velvet Ribbon. I dry fit my flowers so I could measure and lay my smokey pearls. My flowers are from Recollections. I put three on the tag, one large, two small and added two small to the mat of the card. To mat my tag I used a pink I had in my stash and a TH eb folder along with a piece of "wood grain" done in Smokey Slate and whitewash. Topping the card I used a HFC die sponged with Antique Linen.
That was long ......... sorry! I hope you enjoyed it.
Tomorrow is a very long day at work so ......
