Welcome back blog friends. Today I'm sharing a project done for the challenge at The Shabby Tea Room. It's been a bit since I did a challenge over there or anywhere. LOL They have an inspiration photo below and some other requirements.
COLORS FROM THE PHOTO and INCLUDE FLOWERS, POLKA DOTS and a HEART
The image is designed by my store in town the Crackerbox Palace. They do mail is anyone wants to check out the web site. They have both cling and wood stamps your choice. I love to go in and touch my stamps before I buy them so having this store in town is amazing. They have stampscapes, housemouse and carry other major lines as well. I also get to have some craft talk, we discuss new stuff and techniques. It's like a coffee clutch, classroom and store all rolled into one visit.
Back to the card: I paper pieced the hat, coat and umbrella. I did color some of the dp with colored pencils to darken where I thought shadows were needed. My background dp is a digi paper from Whimsy Stamps called Pink Rustic Cottage.
I hope you like this one! I have to get to work today.
Hugs
Colleen
