Princess All Grown Up!

New challenge site for me! Great Impressions. This is a monthly challenge, so I may just be able to do it every month, LOL. This month they are challenging us to do something for fall. Fall colors, Halloween, Thanksgiving ect. The very best part of this challenge is if you use their stamps you get a gift certificate for 25% your October order. Well speaking of orders that is how I found the site. I was looking for some stamps my local store had displayed and ran out of. When I got home I looked them up on the web. Often when I'm in the local store I pick up one or two of their stamps. They have some really great Fall stamps out right now and they are available on cling now! So there is my story now on to my card I used ivory for my card base and to make my dp.

I used E320 Leaves with direct to rubber green, red and orange markers. Stamping several times over each other and some second stamping,(here is left over of the window) after that was dry I used my TH distressed Tea Dye stain over the entire paper. I think that left over is going to be a great background for the Fall sentiment I'm ordering! On my mat GinaK PL Green Apple I stamped the Princess Castle J95 in TH Distressed Linen for a watermark type image then followed up with the sentiment F400 stamped in TH Distressed Peeled Paint. I used the same card stock as my mat for the Spellbinders Floral Ovals die, using a Spellbinders reg oval to cut out the window. Then for my embellishment I used the mask die from Spellbinders Venetian Accents set, loaded Glimmer Mist in Rouge. The castle stamp was purchased several years ago when my now 16 year old granddaughter was about 8. I was hoping to make it look grown up. How do you think I did?
Better get ready for work.
Hugs
Colleen
