Christmas Dreams

This post is for the Christmas Card challenge site. If you are one of those who put off doing your cards till November as I often am, this site provides inspiration and keeps you on track to get them finished long before you need them.
This weeks challenge was to do a one layer card. I used to be intimated by the thought of one layer, since I've been building scenes and doing Art Journaling, I'm used to building layers of images with only one sheet. So on with the details.
I used my window stencil with TH Stormy Skies and a mask to make a place for the moon light to shine. I used the reindeer from an old set stamped in Coffee Archival Ink so it didn't pick up any of the distress ink. Them I stamped this oh so cute image from Whimsy Stamps called Christmas Dreaming in black Archival Ink. I've been using more of the Archival ink because it does not react with most inks and provides a really great image. To color I used a white paint pen and several of my different types of markers adding some sparkle with a Jelly Pen.
That is it for me today. I have a card on my desk that is more than 1/2 complete, since this is my double shift day I will not be back until tomorrow, crossing my fingers I can get the one on my desk put together.
Hugs,
Colleen
