Christmas Owl

Hi, everyone back already even I'm amazed!
I'm really going to try and do my Christmas cards early this year, so I'm back to the weekly Christmas Card challenge. This week the challenge was to incorporate polka dots in your holiday card. I used some A-muse card stock I bought in 2011 at the stamp show. I love this stuff.
For extra inspiration I went to a new challenge site called the Mod Squad this is their very first week. Heading up this weeks challenge is Cat from Stamp TV. I've followed Cat on many ventures, she started me in the ATC's so I thought it was fitting with all the inspiration she has provided me that I support her new endeavor when ever I can. I hope to be able to combine these challenges weekly and my cards will be done even if I get sick next year.
The requirements for the Mod Squad challenge is to pick at least three of the items below to create your project.
1. Distressed edges (check)
2. Ribbon
3. Die Cuts (check)
4. Pearl stickers
5. Twine
6. Metallic Rubs
7. Layering of an image (check the snowflake and ticket)
8. Charms
9. Copic coloring of an image
10. Use of Distress Inks (check, I used my water brush and ink pads to color my image as well as stamp the ticket)
11. Kraft card stock (check both the base and ticket are kraft)
12. Buttons (check I used one in the middle of the snowflake)

I was able to fit six in my creation how bout you give it a try :)
My main image, ticket and snowflake die are all from Whimsy Stamps. This is the first time this cute Owl has been inked and I've had it two years. It's always been in the back of my mind now I'm happy I finally used it.
That's it for me now, I'm going to try to get back tomorrow with a TH tag.
Hugs
Colleen

Not sure how this happened  :( the link for the Mod Squad is closed. I had fun making the card anyway and I can still get it the Christmas Card challenge.

How smart you are, I left some of my Christmas stuff out from making cards so that maybe I can be inspired to start early as well. Thanks for the inspiration.
Love the snow on the branch and what an adorable image.
Hope you are doing well.
