Gelli Plate Fun

Pam over at Paper Artsy challenged us this week to make a home made gelli plate and yes I did. I've been wanting to try one for awhile now and this seemed like the perfect chance. Pam's prints you can see here turned out way better than my first practice ones.
I'm not disappointed though, these were intended to be practice. Maybe I will use parts of them in another project or maybe they will hit the trash. To me it doesn't matter, because I was able to play and learn.
As you can see my gelli plate will cover a 12X12
paper. I made this size so I could use it on my journal pages as well, since I haven't scraped in awhile. I found the gelli plate performed well for what I did. I do have to say if I can master it, I already know I have to make a new one because mine was too thin, I should have doubled or tripled the recipe in addition I will cut my plate to a proper 12X12 square. So this was a test run. The cost to make this one was only $8.00 so why not try it.
I hope the pictures look better when they are enlarged, they sure looked better in my picture program.
Have a wonderful day.
Hugs
