Tim Holtz tags June

Since I missed last month :( still sitting on my desk waiting to be finished, I thought I would start out this month right and finish this one right away.
Here is the link to Tim's masterpiece. This months tag looks nothing like mine with the exception of the techniques he used. We inked up the back of a stencil with the mini ink pads(yes I did buy them) then spritz them with very fine mist and turned them over on watercolor paper. WOW I love this look and will have to use it again. I used Salty Ocean, Seedless Preserve, Mustard Seed, and Picked Raspberry on his diamond stencil. The truck stamp I used came from a clear set of Tim's called The Journey. I try to pick up any set I see even if they are the clear ones. The sentiment was made using one of his wooden stamps HL-P8-002 I was able to pick up at Hobby Lobby it has so many great phrases on it stamp them all together as a background or divide them up. I added a chit-chat sticker to the sentiment making it more personal.  You really can't tell in the picture I mixed some TH Chipped Sapphire paint with an iridescent additive to make it kinda metal-flake. I cut out some circles from his lost and found paper stash to make my target. Added some idea-ology mini gears and an arrow. This whole tag was made around my sons statement when he saw the arrows I had out for last months tag. Now he will have one of his own on his Fathers Day gift.
As long as I'm here I thought I would share another project that was inspired by this months tag.
This month for my ATC swap we are doing Butterflies ........... For this project I wanted to use TH's new die but I couldn't get it in time, then I picked up some napkins with butterflies on them still could not get that to work. Then I saw another clear set of Tim's called Butterfly Frenzy it had the perfect size of Queen Ann's Lace flower in it for my ATC the butterflies are from a GKD set. I used my mini inks directly to the stamp misted and pressed on the paper. When they were dry I added the butterflies and the sponged around the edges and white spots with TH Tumbled Glass.
I hope you enjoyed my projects.
Hugs
Colleen

Glad you got your projects done. The tag looks great with the multi color background and ribbon. as for the ATC, it is really pretty, and it's hard to believe so much detail is on an ATC. Good luck!
