Shiny Things

Over at Paper Artsy the challenge for these two weeks is to create with shiny things. There is always a huge amount inspiration from the talented gals on the blog. I try to take a little bit from everyone and add it into my creation. This time my major inspiration came from Penny who used gilding on her project. That being said I have a group of shiny things on my layout, jewelry, flowers tipped in treasure gold, flowers tipped in perfect pearls, leaves tipped in glitter, feather tipped in glitter, bottle cap filled in glossy accents, mirrored trellis die cut, ribbon with gold thread running through it, gold paper die cut for picture mat and the paper itself is very glittery so much so that I used Dusty Teal mixed with a fair amount of Guacamole and water to create some drip-age allowing the elements to take center stage. I'm adding detailed pics below. I hope you enjoyed this layout I had fun creating it. Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs
Colleen

Thanks again :)

Oh Colleen.... this really is my very absolute favorite ever. Thanks for sharing your first idea with me, and for promptly abandoning it. This is a zillion times better. What a gorgeous keepsake.
