This is another challenge over at Soul Scrappers, This one is a monthly challenge also and it's about escaping to nature with your camera of course. This is escape to nature #2 Waterfalls. I can't recall what day it was ..... my husband was home and we decided to get in the car and go hunt down a waterfall in mid winter, in Wisconsin, in farm country. For those of you who haven't experience a Wisconsin winter and the very flat farm fields of corn can only imagine the daunting task. I did however get some remarkable pics of other architecture so I hope those topics come up sometime. There is a 12 foot waterfall built in our rotary gardens but they don't turn it on until April because of the freezing weather. We had an amazing morning though running around following the river and scanning the skyline for pics, then we stopped for lunch.
The next day while I was downloading my other pics in my outdoor file I came across this picture of a friends backyard waterfall and pond so this is my 12 inch waterfall.
I tried to highlight the waterfall by centering it in between the birds and collage of items.
Stuff:
Paper all Tim Holtz the top DP is from the Garden collection, it two sided paper and the birds were on the other side so I tore them out and fussy cut them for the front then found the bottom DP in the postal collection. I distressed all the edges with walnut stain ink, I also added soft stenciling with some crushed olive, walnut stain and aged mahogany. I also cut the tag Follow instructions out of a piece of DP from the Postal collection.
Doily is a TH die sponged with aged mahogany.
Chipboard random sponged in forest moss
Flowers Recolections
Burlap Jo-Ann's
Small flowers cut from ribbon trim Hobby Lobby
Well that is about it if you're interested you can see a close -up of the waterfall below.
Hugs,
Colleen

Brrrr, you nut! I finally got a chance to come over and read the story. That is a very cool backyard. Love the birds and all of the do dads.
To answer your question, the package says clear. It is not dried up... I just got it for Christmas from one of the kids.
